Miguel, a Dominican entrepreneur from a small coastal town, always dreamed of showing the world the beauty of his land, characterized by white sand beaches and lush vegetation. Although his family’s economic limitations made his dreams difficult, his determination led him to work from a young age in various jobs, such as a tour guide and crafts seller, while saving to build a better future. At the age of 25, he founded MYM Travel and Tours MAAC SRL with a minivan, offering local tours that connected tourists with Dominican culture and history.

Despite facing challenges such as lack of capital and strong competition, Miguel stood out for his warm treatment and authentic experiences, managing to build customer loyalty. Over time, he trained in digital marketing, using social media to promote his services and expand his reach. This allowed him to grow his company, acquire new vehicles and hire local tour guides, providing employment to people in his community and contributing to the economic development of the region.
